North Andrews Neighborhood Association(NANA) is a voluntary association(non-sectarian and non-partisan) in Oakland Park, Florida. Welcome to the neighborhood website, sponsored by the North Andrews Neighborhood Association (NANA). Your comments and suggestions will help us create a more useful, interactive experience. Our mission is to give a sense of community to our neighbors. We are also in touch with our City Council, Parks & Recreation Department, Planning & Zoning Board, and presidents of other neighborhood associations. Through these meetings, North Andrews Neighborhood Association helps you keep in touch with what is going on in the city and other neighborhoods and brings out issues that may affect the North Andrews Neighborhood area. We also try to assure the safety of our community and ensure community beautification. The North Andrews Neighborhood Association includes residents, property owners and businesses in Oakland Park within the boundaries of NE 62nd St/E. Cypress Creek Rd on the north, Prospect Road on the south, Dixie Highway on the east and Interstate 95 on the west. We are a not for profit Corporation established in 1959 as Brentwood Estates Civic Association(BECA). Our name changed in 1992 to include our current boundaries which include four new subdivisions, Collier Estates, North Andrews Gardens, North Andrews Terrace and Patterson Park.
All
neighborhood residents, homeowners, and renters are invited to join us at our
Association Meetings. Monthly meetings will be posted online and in our
newsletter. We encourage you to attend these meetings so that as a neighborhood
we can address ideas and concerns. All members and non-members may attend. If
you have an idea or concern we encourage you to contact a board member
immediately rather than wait for a meeting.
